2016 World Championship schedule: When is SKT vs. Samsung Galaxy?

The 2016 World Championship will come to an end with SKT vs. Samsung Galaxy.

Gentlemen, this is it.

The 2016 World Championship started a month ago with Europe’s G2 Esports taking on North America’s Counter Logic Gaming, and here we are on the final day of the event with only two Korean teams left — SK Telecom T1 and Samsung Galaxy.

When does the championship series start?

SKT and Samsung Galaxy will get into champion select soon after the stream starts at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Where will it be streamed at?

As always, there will be multiple streams across Twitch, YouTube and lolesports. There will be a main stream that focuses on everything, and then there will be specific streams that focus on something more unique.

You can catch the main stream here:

The matchup

If you’d like a breakdown and prediction of this exciting championship match, Xing Li has written a fantastic piece that covers both.

This might not be the Korean matchup most were expecting in the finals — that would have been SKT vs. ROX — but Samsung has been playing lights out and should make for a good fight.

No matter what the outcome is, it’s going to be extremely exciting to witness. We will either be celebrating SKT for winning their third title in the last four years or celebrating Samsung for ending an incredible run by taking out the best team League has ever seen.
